Johnny Flynn-O'Connor fired Youths in front on the half hour. Two goals inside seven minutes midway through the second half sealed Wexford's win. Stuart Larkin made it 2-0 on 66 minutes before skipper Conor Sinnott added a third from a 73rd minute penalty. Mark Leech got Shelbourne's consolation goal in the final minute.
