Dean Delany
'Deano' returned to Tolka when Dermot Keely signed him from the Suirsiders at the end of November 2007.
Out of Contract Delany signed for Waterford United on March 15, 2007, after being 'on trial' with Pat Fenlon's Derry City.
'Deano' left the Tolka Park outfit at the end of the 2006 season, having completed his contract period.
Dean Delany joined Everton as a schoolboy in 1997, and went on to be a key part of the successful 1998 FA Youth Cup Winning team. He left Everton, joining Port Vale in 2000. He spent four years there before signing for Shelbourne in May 2004.
Dean played for Ireland when they won the 1998 under-18 European Championship and played for them in the same Champioship in 1999, when Ireland finished third. He also played for Ireland at the World under 20 Championships in Nigeria. He has been capped 20 times for Ireland at U21 level.
Dean made his Shels league debut in June 2005 against Waterford United.
