Gareth Matthews
Gareth Matthews (13/02/90) Matthews moved to Norwich City’s Academy from schoolboy club Cherry Orchard in 2006. He remained with the Canaries until he returned to Dublin in 2008, when he joined with UCD to take up a sports scholarship.
While only making 17 senior appearances for ‘College’ before he left them to join Shelbourne at the start of the 2011 season, he had success with the ‘A’ team in each of his three years at Belfield.
